DELMARE PILCHARDS (Student Work)
Origin Story: Delmare', meaning "from the sea" in French is passionate about the ocean and environment. The brand, founded by the Gerard family whom originated from Marseiles (France), offer a rich history and wealth of knowledge within the fishing industry. Initially, a canning plant was opened in Saldana Bay, after which the business was relocated to the outskirts of Cape Town where they fell in love with the people, culture and country-feel living of Cape Dutch style homes; featured in the logo.
Visual Concept: French elegance combined with the style and aesthetic of Cape Towns' dutch, country style modesty amidst eco-friendly and sustainable design.

Visual Concept: The Essence of Origin
Solni Gourmet Salt is a prestigious, unpolluted range of raw minerals harvested along the South Pacific Oceans grouping of islands, known as Hawaii. The packaging incorporates design that offers an interactive experience & narrative by which to gain knowledge of the products origin.
The two products featured are Pacific Sea Salt and Black lava Salt.
